Chaeyeon is a post-master research assistant in clinical psychology at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. She works with Dr. Sunkyung Yoon in the Emotions in Daily Context Lab. 

 

She has previously worked as a researcher in the Clinical Emotion and Cognition Lab with Dr. Seung-Hwan Lee at Ilsan Paik Hospital. In February 2021, she received a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, under the supervision of Dr. Hyang Sook Kim in the Emotion and Emotional Disorder Lab at Sogang University.

 

Her research interests encompass 1) emotion regulation (ER) in daily life, 2) cognitive and affective science, 3) temporal dynamics and socio-cultural contexts, and 4) computational clinical science. She can employ multi-method approaches, including ecological momentary assessment (EMA), neuroimaging (e.g., EEG, fNIRS), and computational modeling (Network Analysis, Machine Learning).

 

Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys playing games and drinking a cup of tea.
